We are pleased to invite you to this year’s youth festival, which will take place 26-29 May at the Othona Community, a lovely nature reserve in Essex by the sea.

We have some great speakers lined up and will share more about them with you soon! In addition to the talks, you can expect daily Matins and Vespers, nice strolls by the seaside, a beach campfire, Divine Liturgy on Sunday, and other social activities you can take part of if you would like, but also plenty of free time to just enjoy the surroundings and relax or sit around and talk to others attendees.

The main event of the year, which usually takes place on one of the May Bank Holiday weekends out in the countryside. The Festival is 3-4 days full of interesting talks by a variety of speakers (bishops, priests, monks, nuns and accasionally academics and laity as well) based around a common theme. Some of the other activities you can expect include walks, bonfire nights, sports, games and more (and you are free to skip the ones not appealing to you)! There is also plenty of “unorganised” time for personal conversations both with the speakers and with other attendees.
